LET'S EAT: Mama George's Restaurant & Take-Out

Mama George's Restaurant & Take-Out is a small (but well-loved) roadside establishment in Norton, New Brunswick. This place is popular with cottagers, tourists, and is a year round favorite with locals. It is always well worth the visit. They have a great selection of tummy-satisfying food...oh, and a good variety of ice-cream flavors too.

A couple of days ago, we stopped there for a generous helping of Fish 'n Chips. We had worked up quite an appetite and this meal was just what we needed. Tasty haddock, fries, and coleslaw! Couldn't ask for better on a hot summer afternoon.



The fish batter is perfect, the haddock is perhaps the best we've ever tasted, the coleslaw is top-notch, and the crinkle-cut fries are neither salty nor are they dripping in grease. Excellent! We give this meal a 5 out of 5 rating. Yes, we consider ourselves very happy customers. Thank you, Mama George's!
